The ruin of history. Even the air is red with blood, choking on sewage, cordite, burning oil, and my own fear. The bombs are getting closer... thumping of anti-aircraft batteries all around (this is bad location, likely target)... the people look like lost souls in Purgatory.
Perhaps we are already dead?
Tell my family I love them. Don't think I will get out of here this time. Shit... (the word is huge yet barely legible: a bomb had fallen nearby), that was too close. Why? Why? Why? (This is madness - don't believe your leaders, there's no justification for this) Fuck you, George Bush, you evil sonofabitch!
